Maybe but it doesn't say which doubled die it is. Could be a mixture of them. I would want more info.

The CP Guide has the 95 DDO at $45 in MS 65. As a variety collector, that would be good enough for me. I wouldn't buy a 68 for 4 or 5 times that much. I don't know if others would either.

Quote: What does this guy know that we don't? He probably just got real lucky and came across a full roll of them. At $100 per coin that's a good price for MS68's. I think I have seen MS65 go for $80. There are a lot more 65's then 68's out there. John1

I think he found more than a roll to get 50 MS-68's. The 95 DDO #1 is pretty common so serious collectors are looking for the highest grade, but I'm not sure how many serious collectors are still in need of one. I've pulled five of them from circulation so far, so keep on looking

I believe I may have one, but the overlap is much more subtle. Are there varying degrees of the double obverse?

It's not a good deal at all. The seller is asking $110.00 each when purchasing 50 pieces, yet is selling them at $100 each individually (sold 29 pieces at that price with 21 left ~ link below)... I remember when PCGS MS67 graded 1995 DDO cent were selling for $45.00 each 10 years ago (not much of a premium when you factor in the certification fees). As for the quantity this seller has, it's easy to find that amount when you could order mint sewn bags of 5,000 cents back then for face value + a small shipping fee if your bank ordered them for you. In 2001 I purchased over fifty 2001 dated off center cents the seller found in a single mint sewn bag. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1995-Double...c644738fbing

The 1995 doubled die might be the most common significant variety known; the PCGS and NGC certified population is a little over 1 bajillion.

My humble opinion ... this is NOT a lot that anyone considering flipping for profit should pursue.
However ... if you need 50 of these for your personal set ... then go for it.
