So who's going?
I'll be bringing some banknotes, "irregular" off-centre toonies, copper rolls, BU quarters (colorized and not), BU loonies and toonies, and any other material like world coins that people may want to trade. Just ask 'cause I might have it - nothing high-end, just fun stuff!

...And a loupe, of course!

I'm looking for mainly Swiss Francs pre-1968 and Mexican coins. I may only have time to go on Saturday. I heard good things about the last show so I'm expecting this one to be even bigger.

...And now for a dancing chili pepper:

I'm going!

I'm bringing some 1967 British Halfcrowns (somehow I have gotten 9), some of my Mexican doubles, a 1967 dollar and a 1960's nickel dollar (can't remember the year).

I'm looking for anything unusual or interesting for my collection.
Also, I'm looking for a Mark Antony Legionairy Denarius, an ancient Greek coin and an Ike dollar.

This will be my first coin fair!

Question for all coin show veterans.

If I can only attend one coin show this fall, either the Toronto Coin Expo (sept 29) or Nuphilex in Montreal (nov 3), which would be the better show to go to?

I live in Kingston which is in the middle (travel time) between both shows so I would like to attend the better of the two.

Thanks

As a collector and a place to hunt coins, Nuphilex was my favourite show, but, a lot more Canadian collectors congregate at the Toronto show. So, I would pick Toronto because for me, it is less about the coins, and more about having a few beers and good conversations with my collecting friends... Cherry-pickers love Nuphilex... hard-to-find coins and top grades are in Toronto.... everyone has their own personal criteria...

That was my mistake last year, I assumed that the show would be Saturday and Sunday (Like Torex).

From the website, there is an auction at 6 pm (with viewing starting at 10 am) both Thursday and Friday.

Never been to this show or the auction so I know nothing about them other than what I read here: http://www.torontocoinexpo.ca/
