THANKS EVERYONE! So far I've made it 12 hours without buying a coin...of course 6 of those I was sleeping. But, hey....baby steps!

I suppose the first step to recovery is to admit one has a problem...but there are some alternatives I have to buying coins from the bay....  |

If you absolutely get an itch do some roll searching. At the very least it only costs you face value anything you keep. Great cheap alternative to get a fix in without spending much

9 days so far and no purchases  But one of the reasons I'm holding out from buying is because I sent an offer a few days ago on a coin and the seller still hasn't responded back... |

Forget coins and ebay for a moment. I want to know how the concert was. Is it true the new album is something along the lines of 2112? |

IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! New album is a concept album, is very good imho. Check out some tracks on youtube, it's called Clockwork Angels. Stay strong VK! I'm off to NOT look at coin on ebay! |

Know what you mean! I have no money since I just bought a truck, and now I told myself, if I want to MAKE money I have to SPEND money on stuff other than coins...gas, for one. [;]
SO I decided not to buy any coins til christmas...

chrsmat71 ... in 1980, I went to see Rush at the "Memorial Arena" (in my hometown of Victoria, B.C.) ... yup, I was in Grade 11 and the whole thing was a random blurrrrrr! => it was awesome! The album that they were promoting was "Permanent Waves" ....... ahhhhhhh, it's all flashing-back to me!!  Edited by stevex6

Chrsmat, I know the feeling. I don't actually hit the Bay often because of my budget woes (spare change? What's that?), but right now I'm trying to start my own business over on Etsy and need every spare dollar for yarn and better crochet hooks* and so even CRH and picking through the drawer at work is a hassle. *I have those standard aluminum ones, but I also tend toward a tight gauge for smaller stitches. I want to get a couple of those ergonomic bamboo hooks that are supposed to reduce wrist strain, but they're ridic expensive--like $20 a hook and I need five different sizes. |

Years ago, we bought a popup camper off ebay using my girlfriend's ebay account (x-gf now). I have resisted getting an ebay account, and so far I am just under $12k buying from other CCF members.  |
