Man, I went to a Rush concert in this weekend in St. Louis and the cash just evaporated from my wallet...between tickets, drinks, motel, food, drinks, t-shirts, and more drinks. WHAT A GREAT TIME AND WORTH EVERY PENNY...but, now I'm really broke...and I just bought a few cheapie world coins on ebay when I said I wouldn't go on there again for weeks...so, here is my pledge.. I swear before all of you that I will not buy any coins on ebay until November 1st...no matter how shiny and candy- like they may be, no matter how awesome, or stunning gorgeous, or what a great deal I can get, or even if I see one of those super cool Julian II bull coins for only 5.00 bucks. I will buy absolutely no coins online...period. So help me God. This is going to stink.  Moved by Forum Mom from Ancient, Greek, and Roman Coins forum to Main Coin Forum.Edited by chrsmat71

We've all been there. I just came off of 6 weeks on the wagon. I'm not sure if you were around, but Steve6x swore off a few months back and to keep himself busy, he posted his top coins one every so often to be discussed. You might try something like that to keep yourself occupied. Good luck, and we're here for you if you need help.

The best way to stick to the promise is to not surf ebay. I know this one from experience. The bad thing is that my wife and I have a shared account so she gets updates on her smart phone  |

We just bought a home and the wife asked told me I should not really buy any more coins right now (homes kinda fixer upper). What do you think I did?  I'm addicted and absolutely crazy  I better intercept the mail before she does  swcoin.ecrater.com

Unlucky, as JW says we've all been there!
You need a project, an area to study, I find it helps 'take the edge off' the craving.
Re-visit the coins you already own, maybe like Steve did show them to us over the next month.
