By his shirt, of course!

I'll be getting this t-shirt this next week. And, yes, I'll be careful where I wear it...only to shows and the coin club. I love the fact that I can wear an image of my own coin around!

Prethen.
I would not call that being a geek at all, I would say that person is a well informed and educated individual studying the hobby and science of the numismatic field.

Bruce.

Great shirt, My wife got me one that says COIN NUT on it, but I like yours a lot better. If you wear it to shows you will get a lot of questions about it.
Good Idea

For Christmas my niece made me t-shirt -- well, she bought a t-shirt and used iron-on transfers that she could print on her computer. The front says, "I'm a numismatist" and below that in smaller letters, "Don't worry, it's not contagious." The back says "Got coins?"

It is a very cool shirt, very tastefully done, a nice soft light peach color. I've been saving it for a special occasion. Finall last week I wore it to my coin club meeting.

Nobody noticed. Or if they did, nobody remarked upon it.

Prethen, be sure to let us know what reactions you got with yours.

I wanted to make sure the image was something that really represented something I'm passionate about and something odd enough that people will take notice. I'm tempted to wear it in public. I know that it should get noticed at coins shows and my club. I'd be very surprised if no one mentioned anything.
