I take it you meant a 1894 dime?

The Seated dime is worth about $15 in fine and the 1894 in AG should run about $10-$15

Personally I would have rather had the older dimes....

If Night Hawk has the correct values for the dimes, then I would say that you made a pretty even trade for the proof-like Canadian dollar.

I would have kept the dimes if not that well....they just weren't that attractive to me....
The Barber....they just don't catch my eye when the bust is worn smooth of all detail
The Liberty seated....it was more attractive but the reverse was a bit worn as well as not as rare.
The big plus.....1964 is the year my parents were married and the went to Quebec on their honeymoon....so the Candain Dollar will make a nice gift

As far as silver content/bullion value is concerned, you scored! Way more silver in that Canadian dollar...

Let's just hope the 94 dime didn't have an 'S' on the back!

No "s"...the rim was so worn on the reverse there was no way to tell even if it was...was worn smooth up to the wreath.
