Due to a comment on another forum I went searching for a specific coin and found this one too. It was pulled from circulation around 30 years ago. Forgot I had it. Is this an error on the reverse? When the coin is placed on edge the reverse looks even, not wavy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

most likely PMD. The reverse was probably sanded down to fit the coin to an encasement like this

I agree that it is not an error just damaged. Value-10 cents.

He's at it again! It was "Little Johnnie, In the Garage, this time with Daddy's Belt Sander"!

Bet he burnt his little grubby fingers, this time!
