Hey everyone, I just wondered if anyone here has a way of reusing or recycling the plastic coin wraps some companies use to wrap pennies, nickels, etc. I have a huge trash bag full and it kills me to throw things like this away.

Also, sorry for the volume of threads I have been starting
Rest in Peace

I don't have any suggestions but I do have a problem with all the single-use plastic that's out there.

Yeah I hate it. I think I'm just going to keep hoarding them and then ask my local recycling center if they will take them.

A local business that ships nationwide would LOVE them for packing material. I know I would.

You might want to see if you local recycling center will take it. Some are picky about what plastics they will take. Mine only recently started taking plastics other than #1 and #2.

I just bag them and put them in with the plastics at the dump. I never considered using them for packaging. I like that idea.

I like that idea too.

I keep a box of foam peanuts that I dip into from time to time. Those make great lumbar support pillows. Just fill an old pillow case and tie it up. Eventually they go flat but I never seem to run out of them.

I use them to store my keepers since they fit neatly in the boxes and those boxes happen to fit neatly in my safe.
I wonder if you could recycle them at one of those places that take used plastic shopping bags?
