please put it in the appropriate spot mods.
other day when I was trying to determine if a coin was an overdate, I enlarged the pic but it became grainy and not clear.
then when I was watching the final minutes I was looking at other coins in hand with my 5x glass, I held it up to the screen with just a slightly enlarged pic and could see all the detail I needed to confirm what I suspected so now I keep the large 5x sitting next to my pc screen.

Helps if the lens is clean too

I use 4x normal glasses to examine coins closely, so you can use BOTH eyes together. That way, BOTH hands can be free.

My eyes are good enough not to use glasses, except for extended reading periods.

i use both eyes to look through my larger lens magnifying glass ( 8.5cm), trick is to extend both arms if your holding a coin to look at, I do this wearing my reading glasses and the detail is ( to use a ned )pretty darn good. this was just the first time I tried it on the pc screen and all I can say is try it. < that dot takes up 9 squares :)
