Here is my 1865 2 cent coin.
I read before on here that old coins were worn around the neck on a string back in the day, which explains being "holed".
Everytime I look at this coin, I think of someone wearing it to town going shopping...pretty neat.

Ruined in terms of value, but the history of that coin would be amazing. Very pretty though, one of the more unique coins produced by the mint.

Nice. By the look of the hole location, coin appears to have a slightly rotated reverse...
