This coin is at an online auction that ends in 16 hours. I'm really hoping to get it. I have a grade in mind but might be a bit biased due to wanting it so badly. Some second opinions from the experts here would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Real hard to tell from the blurry images Peter, but if there are no hidden problems it would go 64 for sure and possibly 65. That looks like a very solid strike for a Peace dollar with only a couple of blemishes on the chin and cheek.

Based on the pictures, I would say a 65.

reverse above and left of eagle looks like corrosion
otherwise high mint details MS-65+ with lots of mint luster!

Could be a MS65 but hard to know for sure what is hidden in the lousy photos.

The letters E PLUR appear to be clogged with greenish crud, possibly a result of PVC corrosion. This could be a gem MS dollar with a significant, value-hurting "problem". Unless there is a good return policy (or you like to gamble!) I would not place a high bid on this coin.

I dropped out at $155. You are all right about the photos. When a good picture can make all the difference between getting a good deal and losing my shirt I'd rather pass. I was thinking this coin would make MS 65+
but am not willing to go higher on a "maybe". Thanks all for your responses.

Glad you dropped out. You can have a slabbed NGC MS65 for a little over $100 all day at Heritage. Whoever gets that coin is wildly overspending.

People overspend because of greed. This is a $600 coin in MS-66.

The blurry photos make it impossible to grade ... and the aforementioned reverse 'green crud' might be real or not ...

Good move to drop out on this questionable raw coin.
