2 Cent Copper With Die Clash

I purchased an AU 1865 2 Cent with pretty heavy die clash marks on the reverse. I'll try to get pictures up tomorrow. The coin has a fair amount of red left in it. If it was MS it (might) get a RB designation.

The marks are in the field around the 2, and very obvious under x5 magnification.

Just curious, is this positive, negative or nuetral to the public (generally speaking)?

Die clashes generally do not affect the collectibility of a coin, and when they do it's generally a positive thing, not a negative thing. Some of the nicer and better known die clashes are actually worth something...some are even listed in the CherryPickers' Guide.
