this coin was given to me. It is in a green label PCI holder and these are just quick shots I took with my 50mm lens and didn't get as close as I probably should have because I was in a little bit of a hurry. I just figured I would see what you people thought as far as a what grade it deserves

That's a tough one as I used to use PCI for my error coins, and knowing a little bit about PCI, I would guess MS65.

Hello,

I guess that it's a MS-63 only because of the noticeable dings on the 'M' of UNUM and the 'DO' of DOLLAR. It seems to have good luster, though, which could notch it up one grade depending upon the buyer's opinion.

By the way what is going on with the 'N' of ONE; it appears doubled.
Or is that just an optical illusion?

Thanks,

I am not good at grading but for what it's worth I would say MS-62.

What you see is a ray that runs parallel to the slanted line in the "N"

As far as the grade, common dates are a little more lenient, so I couldn't see this grading less than 63. That's being conservative, I can't tell if there are bag marks or not.

I went ahead and took a couple other shots a little closer to the coin and maybe it will help a little. I want to elaborate that I want opinions on what you think it grades not what you think PCI gave it. In a couple of days I will post a picture of what PCI did give the coin. As far as Variety its nothing special just a VAM-1Y for those that thought there was doubling, it was just because of the photo. There is nothing really worth mentioning on the coin as far as doubling goes

I'm going to stick with MS-63, mostly because the luster seems to be strong. It's a good example of a low relief coin that makes MS.

I think it's an MS62, I'll be interested to see what PCI calls it since I haven't seen many of their slabs.

this is actually in a PCI MS-62 slab. I lost the image when I reformatted my computer but will take another one for all of you to see. Sorry it has taken so long but I have been working on a vehicle for a friend for the past few days plus trying to reload everything on my computer so it has been pretty hectic around here
