I bought/traded some things for a few Morgans today at my (and GR48's) favorite dealer and found a little jewel in the mix. I give it a definite for the "Super CD Elite Clashed Morgan dollar" VAM-29A. All the indicators are there. Does anyone have rarity or value figures on this one? I can't find any... Thanks in advance.. Paleoguy... Oh... How about some pics eh?

So it has the definitive obverse clashes, right? The detail of the reverse break - pretty unique - identifies it as a 29, but it's the clashed obverse G which is the smoking-gun attribute of the 29A.

Hey there SD. Yes it does have the obverse clashes. The little half donut on her neck and the clash under her chin. It's been cleaned but still it's a tough one to find I gather from the literature available... PG

Good enough.

Not easy, but available in high grade. A really tough call as to value, especially in grade, because it's going to be more dependent on demand and we simply can't estimate that.

in the SuperCD book it lists it as a Clashed Interest of 13 and desirability of 3 1/2 stars and at the time the book was written there were only 4 examples found and none traded because it was a recent discovery at that time. So it doesn't really give a value

Nice find PG. This is definitely not a common one. I found a raw one on ebay a while back that was not identified but ended up letting it go as some one else obviously wanted it more than me. I haven't found another one since.
