I don't believe that the Canadian Mint ever released a gold plated penny.

you can brass tone pennies on your stove, or easily electroplate them with a cellphone charger and a couple of common household ingredients.

if people are $5 paying for off colored '67 pennies I just might have to warm up the mad scientist kit :)

There is a 2003 gold plated one from the mint report.
