Hello all,
Here's a raw coin I picked up at a local show recently. I liked the toning and the overall look and the price was OK. Based on the number of small abrasions I would give it an MS64 grade. I think it qualifies as FBL but I would like some second opinions. I had some trouble getting decent photos (please ignore the pink cast on the Bell Lines image; it's not real!). Nevertheless, the details, luster, and toning details are fairly clear. What do you think?

Pretty coin !!

Looks like it has a good chance at FBL's to me ,,Through the holder I won't venture a grade on the coin.

I took another whack at photographing my 1955 Franklin, this time out of the holder. It's definitely a challenge to get a decent picture of a lustrous silver coin. These were about the best I could do.
I'd appreciate any grade opinions. Thanks!

Silver gives me fits, too. I'm going to have to come up with a whole new lighting solution for it, I think.

The only place that makes me wonder is over the second L in DOLLAR, considering whether it's FBL or not. The second pic is more pessimistic than the first in that regard.

I would agree with MS64. Very possibly FBL, really close if it's not. I love the rainbow toning. Very nice original coin. ~Jim

Lovely coin, love the toning, agree about the FBL: if it's not it's darn close. Just wondering: are there thumbprints on the coin or the holder? Can't quite tell though the luster looks uninterrupted.
