Hi I'm Eric, from the U.S. in Texas, while moving some dirt around to make way for my new driveway I found a copper coin with a foreign language and symbols on it, cant find anything on the net about it and really wouldn't know where to begin. Can anyone tell me what it is and where its from?

, I think you might have a variety of something called a False Shekel.
This link will explain more:

It's known that some Masonic orders use these tokens ritually and I'm thinking yours might be of Shriner origin.

thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Very much appreciated. But this is for sure a false shekel?

It isn't strictly a typical "false shekel", since it doesn't have the cup/incense burner or pomegranates/budding rod. But is is, nevertheless, a bronze replica of an ancient Jewish silver coin, a sela (counterstamped tetradrachm) of the Second Revolt period. It's not the first time one of these has been posted here on the forum; others can be found in this old thread and this older thread. Genuine examples are much cruder and look more like this one on Wildwinds.

The one you posted? Probably under 20 years or so.
