I just found a $1 with "777" in the serial. Spend it or not?

Picture? I mean it probably is just worth a dollar, but I would have to look at it before determining my opinion.

My guess is it's worth at least .95 cents in today's money if you spend it now, the way things are going if you keep it for a week it may go down to .90 cents, so spend it now . Bill Collector

OK, To be serious about it, we need to know just what it is and about what condition it's in, is it a US note, if not what country is it from. As you can see, no one can answer a question like that, we need more Info. Bill Collector

Sorry. It's a US dollar, series 2005. I don't have it with me, but I remember the serial starts with "22777".

I'd say a spender, unless there's anything special that pops out to you, then keep it. A picture would be helpful whenever you can get one.

I haven't seen much reason to hold a bill just because it has the a digit repeated three times (ie xxxxx333)
I will hold all notes that have 4 or more in a row (ie xxxx3333). I doubt even these hold much of a premium. But it's not that expensive to hold these until you need to spend them.

I thought it was 2005. I looked again; it's a 2009. I don't know much about currency, just coins.
