I'm curious as to the difference between a 1/2 kilo and a 500 gram bar.

Amaths the 5oz bars id jump on bring a nice premium The 10oz are common not worth it
Ed there is no difference just a different stamp was used. 500g is a rarer bar only a few hundred made in the mid 70s before they swithed the stamp to half kilo abd 1/2 kilo

Thanks, swrbxxx. It's nice learning new things here everyday. Any idea how many 1/2 kilo poured bars were made?
Btw, there is only one such bar left at the dealer's. :)

I know in the old pour those were the most common. Rare but most common id say no more than 10000

Yes no difference as 1000 grams is a kilo, or 32.15 troy oz....
I think they are pretty darn rare, but I see them up ever couple of weeks and always a couple listed way high....
There is a Foster old pour up right now, which is close at 15.9 oz.. I offered 600, instant DELCINED, can you blame them, lol....
