You need to do some more research. The Mint has been copyrighting designs for the last 5 years or more. State Quarter and Presidential dollar designs are indeed copyrighted. Check the notice on new coinage on Wikipedia. The older coinage cannot be copyrighted. IMHO, to be ethical you should still give full credit though.

OK, new images from a new contributor. Before that, though, I redid Tights24's Bustie, because I didn't care for the first set. See what you think: Now, from forum member Tykimeister, we have a couple. First, a 1963 Franklin half. Some day, I will be a good photographer of lustrous silver, but this is not that day. Next, a 1937 Buffalo nickel. I'm not really a fan of the issue, but this coin is so dramatically photogenic that I'm left wondering if I should change my ways:

I will stick to my original on the Busty only a little less surprised to see an EF-40 MS-63 on the franklin,, from the pics on the lower bands center they look merged and this will disqualify the coin from FBL's MS 63 on the Buffalo nickel. Metalman

I think he's trying to show that some knucklehead stole the pictures from here and uploaded them to Wikipedia, or maybe he's trying to say that some knucklehead stole them from Wikipedia and uploaded them here. I'm not sure which, but I can tell you that it's all the same knucklehead (yours truly). Look who uploaded those to Wikipedia, along with about 1,000 other images.

MS63 on the Franklin and MS62 on the Buffalo. There are some hits on the reverse that I think are going to keep this one from 63.

I tell you SuperDave when I can see the polishing marks so to speak on the plainchant(DIE)i believe(in the Fields not on the devices) in the fields on that Benjamin, You are seriously doing something with the photography. I think conservatively Ms-63 on both the Franklin and the Buffalo(both I believe are late strikes)

sorry for all the reply in this thread. CC.com says I do not have enough postings to send messages to individual people.
I did not mean to imply that anyone was a knucklehead. I did not even realize that bob was the guy who uploaded the example images.
That is all for now.

If it's on the Internet, and it says "coin" somewhere on the website, Bobby has probably had his nose in it at one time or another. I have found evidence of his work in an amazing number of venues.

On the Morgan I think it will go MS62 not sure if it will get the Proof like designation or not since it is PCGS, if it were ANACS it would get it.

OK, in the next couple posts are the remaining coins. Member Jaobler has presented me with three Half Dollars which are going to cause me great pain to give back. You'll understand, when you see them. 1837 Reeded Edge Half: 1899-S Barber Half: 1914 Barber Half, the lowest mintage coin of the series: I will finish with the two I'm submitting, as soon as I get done feeding the doggie.
