There are several possibilities here. Note that the multi-ply plated coinage consists of three playing layers. A thin layer of nickel, a thick layer of copper and a thick layer of nickel. If this coin has not been plated by hand (post-mint), and shows no evidence of tampering, it could be missing the final nickel plate. But, I digress, because sharp photos are required, and I would want to know the weight of the coin.
But, as the previous person pointed out, if the rim is smooth (i.e., not reeded) then the weight is moot (coin has been messed with) - because all struck 10c are reeded from the collar die.

just ordered a scale so hopefully can weigh this soon and get a good idea. Would there be much of a diference without the nickel plating?

The coin is reeded and the bronze color is all around as well.

Looks just like the one my friend has just different year! He wonders what type of premium does that coin carry? Should he keep it or spend it?

I never did home work on the coins value however if I had to guess, the coin I posted would sell somewhere between $75 - $200 Tops! I also have a nickel missing plating giving the appearance of a copper nickel. I was going to post it on your nickel topic artdio but I thought it wouldnt be appropriate.
