Got this from Littleton yesterday. I bought the P&D 8 coin Sacagawea dollar set and this was free with my purchase.
Too bad they don't slip an extra Morgan in there every once in a while!

From them nothing is free. Wait until you start getting all sorts of things from them you didn't ask for.

I have ordered 3 items from them and they only set me up on that "coins on approval" thing the first time. So far I am absolutely satisfied with Littleton. Especially if they keep sending me extra coins!
Hopefully it stays that way....

There are 2 of the Formative years one. I have yet to check for extra fingers. Wouldnt that be a kicker!

Well, their mistake is your profit. Glad to hear you got an extra one and not shorted.

So what was the extra one then?

Only a minute separates these two posts, so you may have missed it.

Yes, I must have been typing it while he was and didn't look back at it after pressing submit.

my first order with Littleton they sent me coins on approval... I sent them back with CANCEL written all over it... since then I have ordered 3 ASE's and no more coins on approval come with them... and ALL 3 ASE's were ms69 at the least. I got 2 2012's and a 2011 for $29.95, $35 & $35. I was stunned to se how nice the Eagle's were as the package it came in said ms60, but no way, ALL 3 were flawless! I will continue to order form them till there is a problem or two. Also, the whole "for first time customers" thing is false, as I have purchased 3 seperate items using my login info and they all shipped

all I have ordered from them is gold dollars and ATB Quarters and the "uncirculated" ones I received looked just a tiny bit better than circulated ones I got from the bank. I got them all at face value from those "first time customer" promotions that you mentioned.. so really I have made 9 cents because they all came with free pennies!

When I was about 10 (circa 1973) I bought some coins from Littleton. They sent me coins on approval but I thought they were just free so I kept them. This happened a few times and I always loved them. HAHAHAHA Note to Littleton - Never send approval coins to a 10 year old. LOL

NICE. That was back in the days before credit cards I suppose.. I doubt that would happen today.
Do you remember what you got from them?

I got coins on approval from Littleton when I was a kid (1981-1983), but my mom wrote the checks.

A significant portion of my Lincoln Wheat cent and Buffalo nickel collections came from them. I could have done worse.
