I was curious. If I do a VAM post here in this community forum and duplicate the post in VAM World. would this be considered 'bad joojoo' or perhaps ? I did this earlier and thought maybe somebody might get their feathers in a bunch. What do you guys suggest?

It would depend upon any copyright. CCF appears to endorse sharing. Does VAM World share this philosophy? I myself have re-posted articles from the BCCS Journal here. While these articles are copyrighted, they may be reproduced as long as credit is given to us. Look. Put your post here first. Then post it in VAM World with the notice: "This first appeared in the CCF" Add the CCF link. Act first and seek forgiveness later. Works for me. We need a moderator to give you any official policy. This is just my way of doing things.

Thing is, mds308, I have one foot in the traditional print medium and a second on the Internet. So far, I have managed to anger both. Politics? No. An exceptionally strong desire to share knowledge is what drives me. Also, since I turned 60 last year I have adopted a certain attitude: I do not give a fig what anyone thinks. I find that quite liberating.
The worst thing for me would be if my editor refused to pass on my contributions to the printer, or if the moderators made me go 'on vacation' for a few weeks.

I don't see a problem with it myself, that site specializes in what you are asking about and may get you a faster or more accurate answer (I doubt that). If you have ever read the VAM-85 page on this forum you will notice I started seeking the expertise from the members here first but when it ran its course as far as I thought it could here I went ahead and made a thread over there also and then it went another level from there. The members here are diverse where the members there are all interested in VAM's. We have one member that will usually post everything there and then just link to their post there here for our opinions instead of mirroring the post but either way is acceptable to me. I would much rather that someone post here and post a link there (me being a Moderator here and since it may draw other members to join here with us) but I can understand the logic

Thank you, Bryan1315, that makes a lot of sense. Maybe I could scan a few articles from our Journal to pass on when they say it better than I could. The CCF is, and must be, as inclusive as possible. Certain members are specialists in certain series and that makes them an invaluable resource. There are other Internet resources that specialize in certain fields. Also valuable resources.
There is no, ONE "go to" source for information about coins. But the CCF is certainly in the lead in my opinion, thanks to its members who are so willing to share.

There is no problem with posting your own content on multiple forum communities, as long as it is posted in its entirety and you created the content (that is, you are not copying someone else's work).
In my opinion, simply cross-linking to your post in another community, instead of posting the content here, is bad form.
