Hello all,

Ive been cleaning this guy for 1 month, and nothing. The patina was solid, no dirt to speak of, just a big, blank junk coin.

Heres what it looked like pre-cleaning, and, unfortunately, post 'safe' cleaning, middle row far left:

It was quarantined for BD that was prevalent with all the greeks in that lot, so I decided I might as well try my more successful approach - depatination. Yes, I know, its frowned upon! But, as always, I only do this with junks.

It came out nicely! Especially the reverse, which I thought had been worn off. I'm still working on removing whats left of the patina on the back.

Any help IDing it would be nice! Some letters have come up on the back: Gamma, T O N. If thats any help..

No idea what it is, but that is awesome. The bust looks really thick. Nice work, and grats!

The word running dow the left side is AVTOKPATOP = Autocrator = ruler commonly used on Seleucid coins. The reverse is Zeus seated left. The portrait look female so it should be easy but why I can't name it bothers me.
