Okay, this should be relatively easy. I picked this up and want to know what you think. Remember, it's and ICG holder. The pics aren't great, but for this coin they should be fine.

I don't feel it has enough remaining detail on either side to be VG. I'll go G-6 on this one. Nice, strong, problem-free G.

Old dime ICCS would not go VG on this... I sent him some nice vickies with hair detail enough to warrant F12 and barely got VG ... Glad I called this one right on Props for me :)

ICG is more right than not on lower end world from what I have seen lately. Would be neat to have an entire set of Vicky decimal all matched , not cleaned or played with in g6 to VG8. Would be terribly hard to complete and would look amazing. Most Vicky silver seems to have at least one or more problems in lower grade. This piece (pictured) is not a bad coin for what it is !

ICG is usually pretty good on circulated coins.
Unfortunately, there was a time they wildly over-graded MS coins and it damaged their reputation.
I don't know if they still over-grade but I wouldn't deal with them as I prefer NGC.

@ 54dollarcoin
I have such a set of matched Victoria 25ΒΆ,and am a couple of coins away from a second set in a darker tone.I find that for coins in this grade unmolested examples are much easier to find than in higher grades, all it takes is time, patience, and the will to overpay on occasion.A few of these coins were purchased from you at coin shows, most memorable was a 1871 OBV1 last year that fit nicely in the second set.
