i have 5 coins I'm sending out to ICCS tomorrow and I've been contemplating sending these with them, the 1884 obv2 and the 1943c "NFLD" have some sentimental value due to being passed down from ol'gramps, so I'm afraid that they could be a waste getting graded. the 19195c and 1936 25c DOT are iffy also,
please tell me what you think, not 100% sure if these will go or not!

I would not have any of the above graded.

I'd also forego sending them in.

Usually you want to send coins that are about 100-200 worth minimum, people who send in coins just to get a Vg-8 or something may have sent in a huge order, such as J and M does where they get a big discount per coin

Think about it. Take your 1919 5cent for example. Why spend $15 for them to tell you its worth $9. The fancy package is now worth more then the coin. My rule of thumb is, the grading should never exceed 10% of the coin value.

Unfortunately, I must agree as well. Personally, if the coins were mine, I would not pay the grading fee on these coins.

I sent some small cents recently that I thought would be MS grade and came back AU55. Since then I have purchased some more small cents uncircualted with luster and just put them in 2X2. I will send some of my nicer large cents like 1858 or 1859 but these guys are right save money unless you hit something really nice. I learned my lesson but it was a good lesson to learn.

Don't worry. Went though my list of ICCS coins I'm about to send. 2 x 2006 no p non magnetic in mS-62 and MS-64+. Lowered my list from 8 coins down to 2 so I'll be waiting a while

Let us know how it turns out. I'm always keen to see how TPGs grade coins that we've seen beforehand.
