Two Rotated 1859 Indian Head Cents

The top one has been in my rotated Indian cent collection for about 10 years. I just upgraded it last week with the one on the bottom. I have not seen any others since I started collecting Indian cents with rotated dies and this date is not even listed on the rotated die census.

Nice coins! The bottom one might look nicer, but the top one has lots of character! Your post made me think; the majority of the 1859's I've encountered over the years have rotation issues. I wonder if this is a common occurrence.

I do like them both, but will probably let go of the top one.

I've seen a bunch of 1859 Indians with rotations of 40 degrees or less, but these are the only 2 with rotations of 90 degrees or more.

the 1859 Laurel Wreath I had in my 7070 album had no rotation on it at all
