I recently inherited a box full of coins...chinese (I think) Canadian.. US ..Dutch etc. There are also folders filled with Canadian pennies...5 cent ...and dimes ,also 1 of US Licoln head cent. East African coins and so on. I would like to value these of course so my question is : Is there a forum or list of coin values on this site? Any ideas?

First, welcome to CCF!! As their value depends on many factors, such as year, grade, type, etc., I would suggest perhaps checking online for resources that will perhaps give you a very rough estimate...and I do mean "rough" estimate, as many factors need to be considered. Perhaps searching under "determining coin values" will give you a start. Perhaps another member can guide you more appropriately than can.

Wecome to the best coin site around! People here are very helpful. I would suggest pictures of coins and place them on the proper forum (world coins on the world coin forum, us modern on us modern, canadian on canadian, etc) that way you get the experts to help you in the right areas. I think that you will find everyone here is really helpful

Welcome to CCF. Numismedia.com is great for US coins. But simple google searching will get you values for non-US coins. If you post pictures of your coins, people here will usually reply if you're looking for pricing.

www.coinsandcanada.com site should have all your Canadian coins listed.

I don't know if this would be of any use, but I know that there are some companies that you can send your coins to to get the whole lot valued. I have never used it, but I do knw of it so I thought I just might drop it in. Maybe someone who has used it can provide more information.
