So this is the 1935 Silver dollar -MS-64 Grade by PCGS

dealer said that the "scratches" are just odd forms of toning (which I can see magnifying it 60x. has anyone ever seen this?

A terribly ugly overgraded PCGS coin......................hmmm many, heck I even own a few too many. I wish the US TPGs would stick to overgrading just US coins!

hey be nice to my coin! haha, I agree, I think it might have been a bit over graded, but in the end its PCGS MS-64 and in 50-60 years it will still be that, I paid below MS-63 trend anyways and scored a PCGS MS-64 1953 for 40$ when it trends for 200$ so whatever!

not to be too critical, but there ia a good reason why this dealer sold you this coin for only 40 bucks.

I stand to be educated.

I would like to find out more about those marks across the crown that were so obviously pictured.
