CGCoins: I am the reversal of yourself. The character of the Mackennal / Blakemore designs for the 1910 through to 1936 Oz. coinage is certainly different to neo classic American coin design for the same period.
I prefer the American. I just had to have an MS63 Walker, and a MS 63 St. Gaudens double Eagle in my collection, just because I like 'em.
However, I have to admit: I also like the Oz. 1927 Parliament House florin as well.

i like ALL Aussie pre decimal coins and 99% of the decimal ones as well But I have to agree with Sel some of the early 1800/1900's US coins are stunning. I have a few MS Morgans that I really enjoy and they are quite easy to get in high grades ( Unlike 1910-1936 Aussie coins)
