1919S. Sorry. I actually have an 1919S in a similar grade*, so almost immediately recognized this one (well, to be exact, I looked, thought it might be an 1919S, took mine out to compare and saw next to no difference). In fact, there is a VDB... on the obverse (it's just barely visible in the first picture, and would'be been out of shot in all the others). As this element wasn't put in until 1918, this ultimately nails it as an 1919S. I'm really sorry. *) Now that I look harder at my "1919S" I think it could also be an 1917S... can't see a VDB on it, and the last digit is worn enough that I'm not quite sure. I'm fairly sure about this one, however, as it does have the VDB; as for my own 1919S pieces, I have three others in somewhat higher grades and another probable in a slightly lower grade, so it's not like there's a shortage

There goes the new Rolex and Lamborghini. What a let down. If you need me, I'll be in the tub soaking . Calgon, take me away (any others old enough to remember that one?) Just kidding. I too thought it looked like the mint mark could be a Denver. It always helps to have you guys bring me back to reality.

It certainly looked like an S to me when I wrote my previous post. It looks like a D now. Of course, an 1919D is slightly less common than an 1919S, so that would've actually been positive
