Hello all! As a newbie to this forum, I hope your knowledge brushes off a bit on me, which is why I'm going to open with one of my favorite coins from roll hunting: 1919S wheatie. Just so you know, I haven't had it formally graded, but I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about it, and any tips for how to grade (I understand the scale, just don't know how to arrive at those grades). Thanks guys! Edited by Boeing_to_EMD 10/24/2012 9:58 pm

Quote: I have to ask...what does your username signify? Funny you should ask, I was beginning to wonder about yours... I'm into R/C planes and model trains and photographing their full-size counterparts. Boeing is an aircraft manufacturer, and EMD (Electro Motive Division of General Motors) is a train engine manufacturer. Hence my interests cover everything from Boeing to EMD!

to the Forum. Enjoy your stay with us, your photo of your coin is too small to give you a grade and it also should be taken out of the 2x2. Nice find though..

I was wondering about the name too. I used to work at Boeing.
Welcome and larger and better pictures would help a great deal.

Coin's nice, however, you may need a new stapler.

Welcome to CC!
When posting coin pictures remove them from the holder. Also, crop away the excess so only the coin shows. You'll have to get the pictures larger for grading purposes.

Here's an example of what you need to get closer too for grading.

One of the funniest movies ever. I've seen it about 100 times. And the ending always makes me cry. I think it's a better holiday movie than all the other Christmas movies habitually shoved down our throats each year.

"That's not two pillows". My favorite John Candy movie is Uncle Buck.
