I purchased this large cent out of a group, because I thought it looked in OK shape. It does look better
than my pictures show, I could not get a obverse pic with out the flash. I really need to have a some sort of photo lab.

Once I got the coin home I can see it is a over date

I am thinking about trying some verdicare, because of a couple spots that I am not sure of.

Sometimes a person can walk into a coin shop .. and never know what they will walk out with

I know I have a sickness for state quarters 14 more silver proof State Quarters.

I might like this over 100 year old Keystone/E Howard pocket watch more than the coins.

and do you happen to know what the metal composition is of this watch?

Also can you try to get a better closeup shot of the over-date?

Since you mentioned the need for a photo lab it may interest you to investigate very inexpensive but efficient means of taking close-up shots by reviewing the following CCF thread dedicated to USB cameras and related homemade tripod stands etc.:

Im right there with you on that one. I love the flag labels on those as well, its one of the few times I've thought the special label added substantially to the whole package of the slabbed coin

Mdpmedia I will try to get some better pictures of the date today.

With daylight adding to my light source I should be able to get a little better

I tried taking more pictures of the 1820/19 with more sunlight. Still not getting where I can see the light
image of the "9" in the center of the "0", I can see in the pictures the "1" showing with the "2'.

I believe it to be a newcomb 3 variety.
