Been searching through hundreds of wheaties all day, think I found a double die.

There are a few areas that I think I might be seeing some doubling. If you look at the word TRUST, if you look above the letters, you can see the letters faintly double above. The S mint mark appears to have been struck twice and the date has some extra metal on it as well. If you look at the rim at the top of the coin, you can see a line that splits it. Also, at the bottom of the coin under the portrait, the coin looks like it was stretched out to the rim if that makes any sense.

Interesting chips on this one. I have a 1955 with real nice tone and a huge die chip on the bottom lope of the first 5, I was going to post it today just for kicks.

The "doubling" of the rim that you see at the top of the coin is due to a slightly misaligned die. Very common, no extra value.

Could any one help explain to my why the "U" & the "S" look like they do? They clearly extend beyond where they should and don't look anything like the "U" and "S" on my other coins. The doubling on the words that I'm seeing, almost matches up perfectly with the doubling on this coin which has a much clearer picture.
