Princetane Pillar of the Community 4628 Posts	Posted 03/29/2021 04:17 am Another week, another Florin upgrade! 1937 Florin, again the photo does not do it justice, this AU piece replaces the Fine one I have now. Good first year coin with some attractive golden coloured toning coming through on both sides. The photo makes it look dull and have no hair detail, in fact its very sharp individual strands and a lot of shine - my camera seems to have an induced wear factor (That coin in the photo looks VF, but I can ensure you in the flesh its AU). Princetane Pillar of the Community 4628 Posts	Posted 03/31/2021 2:14 pm Yes a nice piece George VI silver is a great type to collect, most dates offer high grade examples at very affordable prices compared to other reigns. George has helped me get an affordable selection of shiny halfcrowns and florins compared to the dull wear of George V and Victoria!
