After an eternity, finally brought a few more coins. These are upgrades rather than new dates.
Lovely upgrades!

Finally some more coins from this new dealer, one upgrade and 3 new dates. These are nice but the Gothics are historically cleaned and quite cheap.

1880 Gothic Florin, cleaned VF - absolutely thrilled to add some fresh gothics after my big buy in last year. This is a nice coin!

1887 Gothic, harshly cleaned Fine. Even more thrilled about this, 1887 gothics are pretty scarce as most 1887 Florins are Jubilees. Even better was I did not think this coin even existed.

1932 Florin, as you may know that is a rare year with just 717k minted. I already had a 1932, but it was basically Good at best, this is a full Fine and was cheaper than the Good one!

1892 Halfcrown Fine, incredibly did not have this one! This is a decent fine and uncleaned example and quite cheap ($29) so a good gap filler. My 1890s halfcrown line up is far from complete, still missing 1898 and 1890 and my 1889 badly needs upgrading.

Hi all been pretty quiet of late nothing really buzzed the tower and most of what I came across was overpriced toot. However I did mage to get a few coins . A nice 1887 Double Florin Arabic 1 in date some traces of old hairlines on the obverse although why someone would want to clean this is beyond me as for detail pretty much as struck. Notice nearly all 1887 are weak on the bust rose and the broach this one was obviously an early struck coin. Reverse is very nice still has all the brilliance and prooflike fields. I would imagine it would get a GEF cleaned details grade.

Next is an 1841 Copper Penny no Colons after REG the commoner of the two varieties but this is unlisted with F struck over I in FID AEF/EF

Lastly a very smart 1858/7 Copper Penny this again is unpublished with the 7 at the back of the 8 and not the centre as on the commonly know overdate GEF

This is great, I start posting again and we get a sea of coins.

Good to see you back Gainn - that thing is interesting, never seen a Sixpence that way ever.

Machinmachinman - love that shilling, so fresh and shiny

Zookeeperz - that double Florin is beautiful and lovely pennies!

Princetane - Nice spot You are correct, it is a shilling (not a sixpence as I rather sillily labeled it). You've got good eyes and know your coins.

Can I confess, I got it wrong, I was praising all the coins shown after my last coin post and got shilling and sixpence mixed up - so it was a lucky mistake on my behalf

2 more quality coins from that new dealer, the last group arrived and looked BETTER than those photos, so these things will likely blind me when they arrive.

A 1935 Halfcrown in AU condition, this is an upgrade and another halfcrown from the early - mid 20th century (How original).

A 1936 Florin also AU, it appears "darker" than the halfcrown and I suspect its tone or more copper near the top of coin, either way it looks beautiful and like the Halfcrown is replacing some "average" examples.

Also brought some Irish coins (1930s and 1940s) but they don't count here, so will show in the general additions thread.
