I never see so many same answers - but this is really a textbook example of EF40.

I would disagree and say VF35, it's very close, but just my opinion.

DavidZerbato, you just had to spoil all the fun with your VF-35.

Actually, I'm about in the middle of VF-35 and EF-40. It's got some VF qualities mixed in with the EF qualities.

I'm on the border of 35-40 too.
Nice original, uncleaned/tampered surfaces too.

EF-40. You have a clear separation between the ribbon and lower hair curl.

If those are strike issues on the shield and ribbon ,,I'm going xf-40...sure looks to be a nice honest coin......
