I came across a 1970 S Cud that was graded and had a reference number assigned to the error. Does anyone know where the list of them are?

There was a book published a long time ago I believe called "The Cud book" or "The Design Cud". From time to time there were some updates but I don't think it is up to date.

OK "The Cud book" was published in 1997, there is one copy available on Amavon for $40. The is also a 2001 supplement which is available on line as a free download at http://www.keysquality.com/download...pplement.pdf

"The Design Cud" was published in 1979 and as far as I can tell has not been updated. two copies available on Amazon at $13.50 and $17.95

Hope this helps.

willy- well I have it narrowed down alot because I bought 15 dollars of rolls that someone turned in to my bank. There was not one penny after 1986..and there were very very few of them. There were very very few 1985s. So my year range is from 1982-1985 IMO. THey don't look like 1982 zincs...so I have 3 years it could be from. There is a slim possiblilty of it being an 86...

Anyone know how may dies they use in a year?

There's a book Web Site called ABEbooks

http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchEntry

You can search for books you want or try to evaluate a book you'd like to sell. The Site is composed of book dealers from all over the country and maybe Europe. Keep in mind many book dealers are dreamers and rare books are not easy movers but it gives you some type of starting point. You'll see different dealers selling the same book with the largest price range. I hope this helps somebody.
