Can I get your opinion on these two quarters? They are two different quarters.

The first coin looks to be a debris filled die
problem. More commonly called a Grease Filled Die.
I use the word "debris" personally as there is really no way
to tell for sure if it was actually grease that had filled in that area of the die. Most often it is but not always.
Second coin looks to be PMD. Scuffed up at some point after it left the mint.

I believe this may be a combination of Die Deterioration a LDS, grease filled and PMD, no value over face, sorry. Some really extreme instances of Grease Filled Dies are collectible but unfortunately this is not one of them. Just my opinion, hope it helps.

Really the completely missing last number doesn't increase the value? I would keep it it is odd. :)

If you like it, keep it, at the very least its a good conversation piece for anyone wanted to view you collection. Heck I like it to, it is odd. From what I have learned, most collectors want to see the complete dates on coins, even error coins, however if the grease filled covers almost the entire coin it would be considered collectible but still hold little value. Check this link out, there is great info on the different types of errors. Are you searching pocket change or do you go through bank rolls?
