Another 1970-S Small Date Help Post

sheeptotherescue Valued Member United States 154 Posts	Posted 10/30/2012 12:46 pm Hi all, After seeing the previous post about 1970S small dates, I went and checked out my 1970S coins. I don't usually collect by date and mint mark, but whenever I find an S mint coin, I keep it. The top penny is what I think is the large date, and the two on the bottom I'm hoping are small dates. If you are having a lotta trouble with this, buy a certified copy (hoping even the TPGs have it right-they haven't always) and use it for reference. A cheaper way is to study the detailed pix from coop and coppercoins. They are great. Report this Post to the Staff
