It's been years since I won anything at our annual Fresno show but I scored this time. Of course, if you factor in the cost of all the raffle tickets I've purchased I overpaid for this coin by about 10X. Still, it's nice to win!

How do you think PCGS graded this nice silver dollar?

I'm calling it 63; I think the cheek marks are less-prominent than the images imply. VAM-15, if I'm correct - the die crack above STAT is diagnostic and the date location differentiates from VAM-30 which appears to use the same reverse.

MS63. Remember that the rule of thumb is that a 63 is your average coin.
Rest in Peace

I would be tempted to call it MS62 but it would not shock me if PCGS called it MS63.

But, if you didn't win; you would have paid out the same amount, with nothing to show for it.

Looks like a MS-63

Nice Coin

I will say MS-63+ but I would not be too surprised to see it in a 64 holder.

Great luster - grazed in a couple spots but I think this has a shot at MS-64 none of the marks look too serious. No worse than 63

A solid 63 in my book, better than many other Morgans also graded 63 by PCGS. This and the other dollars in the show raffle were "cherry-picked" for superior eye appeal by a trusted dealer from a large assortment of slabbed pieces. It looks just fine in my collection!
