Quote: Thanks trout. any value here? Probably get $30-$40 for it on the bay. However these are hard to get toned this way ( Post Rainbow) as they normally suffer from being dipped/cleaned when they start to look like this There are a lot of collectors that just don't like toning like this on silver coins. I am NOT one of them. Toning like this just shows the coin as being a good Honest coin and IMHO the toning enhances the coins desirability. After all this coin is 85 years old and would enhance any commemorative florin collection. After all there was only 4 commemorative florins made 1927,1935,1951 and 1954 and getting them in different grades and tones just adds to the overall appeal of the collection. I have many blast white examples but the worn toned coins are surprisingly hard to get (especially the Canberra florin) That is why I would grade this coin as STUNNING. Great pick up

Is it possible to see some photos rather than scans? The toning looks good like how you've shown it but I bet it looks even better in hand and a photo may show the colours better.

It is nicer Gold coloured in hand. With deep shades of blue and purple. Sorry, just a scanner.

Beautifully toned coin! Uncleaned predecimal silver is impossible to find here--at least like this.

Forgot to mention. The luster on the first one is spectacular with the toning. It glows. And, no, I did not manipulate them. :-)

If the colours are as nice as you say then they would probably demand a nice premium. A couple of really nice coins have travelled a long way in their time by the looks of it.
