Again, I am new! I just "found' this 1970 S Lincoln. I think its a Large date, right? So at first I thought there was a dark fingerprint, then I get my loop and it looks like a clash of "Something Unum" AND a small floating extra "S" mintmark across from Lincoln's nose. Am I crazy or am I seeing what I think I see? It is not raised it looks like ink or grease? Does anyone see what I mean? Or is it just my untrained eye and wishful thinking of a beginner?
No I am not the guy who thinks he saw Jesus in a grilled cheese sandwich. NOTE: I pumped up the contrast of the first photo with the grafitti.
PS I can post pics with less grafitti and can email better resolution pics. I think I see UNUM floating in the field just left of the date but perpendicular to it.
thanks in advance. Big Al

Better photo wouldn't matter. You have a coin with a fingerprint. The things you mention not only would look much different, but are very highly improbable.

Actually, I take it back. Your photo is awesome and that floating extra s is floating and majestic. Don't give up the search. Who am I to get you down?

I have never heard of a misplaced date, I would love to view that "s" under a 60x
