Where To Obtain Rolls? - Coin Community Forum

gxseries Pillar of the Community Australia 3831 Posts	Posted 03/25/2007 10:17 am Interesting enough, when a collector asked me and expressed interest in getting Aussie coin rolls of 2006, I had amazing difficulties in locating ANY rolls! Do the banks here supply them or any dealers that you know have them? I asked my bank and they only supplied some old changes rolled up, which isn't what I was looking for. Maybe I should have tried other banks. I did check out the RAM site but it didn't seem that that they supplied new rolls. Would you happen to have any better ideas? Pleaes do recommand any dealers who may have them and I'll give them a try. It seems that on ebay, a few sellers have limited amount of them but they don't have a complete selection. I fluttered my eyelashes at one of the checkout girls in Coles about a month ago and she gave me a roll of APECs for face . Bigfella has them, and there's a coin dealer here in Adelaide that keeps a lot of them too. https://www.emuauctions.com has some rolls too. Banks dont generally get them, best you could expect from them is perhaps mint bags. The RAM doesn't supply rolls at all anymore, they are all rolled by the security companies. Lucas New Member Australia 3 Posts	Posted 12/10/2007 03:57 am I was getting my usual $20 of 20 cents from the bank today and instead of the two bags of $10 of circulated coins, I got a bunch of $4 bags from the security company, (no rolls here}. They all seem to be 2007 coins. Is this what you'd call uncirculated? Now the question is, is it worth keeping a couple of these bags, or should I crack them open and just save the choice coins?
