I was looking forward to picking up the 2 boxes of halves that I ordered on Monday. I received a call from the Assistant Manager on Tuesday telling me they forgot to order them. She was genuinely sorry for any inconvenience this caused me. I told her not to worry about it, that this was a hobby of mine and it was perfectly fine.

So I was thinking I would just pick up a couple boxes of nickels today so I would have something to do this weekend. After all, I didn't want to be bored. After I picked up 1 box of nickels from another bank, I asked my Brother if he could pick up any halves from his bank. And if they didn't have halves, I asked him to get a couple of boxes of nickels. Well he brings back 2 boxes of nickels and 1 box of halves. Now I'm set for the weekend. Or so I thought...

The Assistant Manager called me this morning asking me if I would like to have the dollar coins they had in the vault. That got my attention. When I asked her if they were large dollars, she said yes they were Eisenhower dollars. I rushed over and this is what I found.

$299 of customer wrapped rolls.

I already checked them for silver. Nothing. I'm going to go through them and hopefully complete my album. Then I will check them for errors. I don't have much experience with Eisenhower's so it will take some time. This is going to be fun.

I bet your heart was racing when you saw those customer wrapped rolls. I can just imagine someone wrapping those up in 1970!

Thanks everyone. Yes my heart was racing. I almost walked out of the bank without paying for the coins.

The Assistant Manager was also asking to see the magician coin (Half Dollar) I found last week. I was so excited to get to the bank that I forgot to take it with me. I did remember to take them some candy.

Search and dump, search and dump.

Wish I could search 'em though. :) Ikes are one of my favorite little surprises to get at the bank.
