Some banks have currency exchanges in them but usually the larger banks. And I've always wondered about those places called CURRENCY EXCHANGES. Do they really exchange currency? stud722 Pillar of the Community United States 1088 Posts	Posted 11/07/2012 10:00 am Carl, when I have travelled to Canada (From Michigan) there are always currency exchanges near the border towns. I have found that you can even find different rates depending on the bank. For example, the exchange inside of a Canadian Casino actually gave us the best rates. Well it was a new can in the seventies lol. I've been going through my old Navy coins that I picked up on my travels. I have a killer 1957 (58) Spain 50 Ptas.
