Am I missing something or did we make two different sets of 2004 Jefferson nickels as the slots in my Dansco are showing? In case you cant see it there are 2 sets of holes for 2004 P-D-S. Just bought this used. No wonder the guy wanted to get rid or it. I like a dope filled both slots without even seeing the problem beforehand. Has anyone else with a Jefferson Dansco experienced this. So much for Danscos quality control.

Got-My-New-Dansco-And-Look!-So-Much-For-Quality-Control.

Help. Lets hear something.

There are two sets of 2004 nickels. There should be two sets for 2005 also.

They will be for the westward journey nickels.

I am missing something ... I hope I am not getting your question wrong

Yes, we did make two sets of nickels for the years 2004 and 2005. Your Dansco album would be correct.

Wow, thank God for the forum. Your right about the 2005 also. That shows you how much I know about modern nickels. Now I have to get them in the right order. I'm sorry for doubting my Dansco. Wondered why the guy gave me 2 sets of 2004's. Never did look on the reverse side. The Forum saves me again.! Why would the mint do that?

Check out your 2009 in your Lincoln cents album too if you have one. Seems to be a new trend for the mint :)

It would help if Dansco had enough room to label the variety, instead of only showing date-mint.

True but just not enough room. Possibly could have added a type 1 or something like that next to the dates though. Or a note right below the heading at the top.
I wonder how that was handled with others such as Whitman, Harris, Littleton, etc.
