RCM posted these new coins for general population last night. Note that the 5 oz Beaver has been 'awaiting stock' for MC over the past few days but that there are about 60 available this morning.

How's everyone feel about the O Canada subscription? Seems fairly priced, and the content looks good so far. wolf, Orca, hockey and caribou stand out. Not to mention the 15 dollars off the coloured maple leaf.

I'll be at least looking to pick up one of the Polar Bears in April if sold separately. I haven't decided if I want a subscription or not, but it all looks nice to me.

I passed on the 1 ounce. I think the beaver looks odd. I did buy the 5 ounce and 2 of the subscriptions.

Question for Mc member, when you do a subscription, is there a fee for shipping? I would assume no. Let just say right now I am not an MC, but I should be a MC member soon. Since the coin don't ship out till Jan, and if I am a MC member by then, do I still have to pay for the shipping fee?

Lostwords, you shouldn't need to pay for shipping by then. The MC status takes a while to reflect on the web portal. Call in and confirm with an RCM rep that your MC status has kicked in.

I will buy 1 oz Beaver - in overall the coin designed good, and the beaver is also has natural background and the perspective. 5 oz also nice, but here I feel that it overpriced...bought the 5 oz Penny, but will pass on Beaver.
very liked the subscription coins (with they were 1oz) - ordered 1 set.
What could be the reason to buy another one? If you have it - please share.

tocoins, thanks. Quote: What could be the reason to buy another one? If you have it - please share. I would assume to flip. But probably have to wait for a bit until the box come and such to flip else, no point readlly

Thank you Lostword and Coin Chick.
I just hope, that the Mint will not start to exploit the idea, and here and there different coins with the same design will be minted.

Hmm... I was interested in this subscription, but from what I can see, as a non-MC member, I'd have to pay $8 shipping per coin. When you add tax on the shipping, that's over $100 extra for the set, or 20% of the value of the set. I can't justify that. Sucks because I was close to being a MC member, but I started scaling back my NCLT purchases over the last half of this year, and now some of my larger purchases have dropped off the spend amount from last year. Oh well I guess.

@gbvbsite, assume that you're an MC member, you won't be billed shipping every time, otherwise, it would be the case.
