See the attached photos. I cannot find any info on this coin/medal on the internet. Can anyone identify it's manufacturer and help by providing any other relevant info please?

A quick Google search found this page:

EACH ONE IS 26 GRAMS OF .999 FINE SILVER - TOTAL WEIGHT IS 182 GRAMS OR 5.85 OUNCES.

THANKS for the response!
Everything about the response is right on except this medal appears to be bronze not silver, especially .999 silver proof.
This does give enough information to continue my research though...thanks again.

After some further research it now looks to me like these medals may have been made by the Lincoln Mint in 1970. Silver and bronze sets were made and sold then.

I moved this to the 'Tokens, Medals, and other Exonumia' forum for further comment.

The term 'Negro' was commonly used up until the very early 70's. I would have guessed the coin was from the 1960's (100 year anniversary for the Civil War) but 1970 is close enough.

Bronze medals of this sort were/are typically sold at Civil War tourist sites, museums and such. I'd guess it's of 1960-70's vintage. Attractive medal, this, having cross-over collector appeal.
