Hello,
I have a few 2012 silver quarters from Littleton that are in the plastic bags. Is it okay to move these into flips or should I keep them in the bags? Thanks.

Keep them in the bags if you want them to keep the most value and remain pristine. Open them if you want to enjoy them more.

I remove them usually for albums or other more secure storage. They can move around quite a bit in those little plastic bags and may cause scratches.

Polyethylene clip lock bags do not have chlorine or sulphur in them, so they are OK for storage and shipping.
They are, however not useful for display in an album.

Keep the bags for coins that you don't need to display, or use them for other storage requirements, such as small screws, nuts etc..

I use small clip lock bags for storage of small mineral and gemstone specimens, but they should only be used for coins with one specimen per bag.

I would put them in 2x2 staple type holders.

Sel, I believe OP is referring to the heat sealed bags that Littleton uses to send out individual coins not the snap lock bags you get when buying from your LCS or at coin shows.

I really appreciate the responses to my question. I went ahead and put them in the 2x2s.
